On a joyful moment of independence day, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad inaugurated much awaited water project of K-4 while the CM Sindh has assured that the project will be completed within two years time.
The ground breaking ceremony of the project were attended by Director General (DG) Rangers Maj General Bilal Akbar, Chief Secretary Sindh, members of provincial cabinet.
At the occasion, the CM Sindh said that with the strong support of federal government the K-4 project will be completed within two and half years. Besides that the CM also announced to initiate 19 more development projects from September this year.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad after giving independence day congratulation to the participants said that water crisis of the city to end with fruitful commencement of the K-4 project.
With the initiation of the project as many as 560 million gallon water per day will be provided to the city.
