SirajulHaq elected as new chief of Pakistan's Islamist party

Members of the Jamat Islami(JI) Pakistan-a conservative party has elected Siraj-ul-Haq, having the portfolio of Pakistan’s province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK) finance ministry as the new party chief for the next five years.
Haq would have to quite the portfolio of finance ministry as the party constitution not permitting a member to have both the party and government office. Sources said
Senior member of the party Liaqat Baloch and former Emir Syed Munawar Hassan was also the contesting candidates for the Emir slot.
Haq  is the senior member of JI belongs to Pakistan’s northern district Lower Dir and currently serving KPK government as a finance minister. He also served JI students wing Islami Jamiat Talba as a president  twice in his student’s life. He completed his intermediate education from the government college Timergara-some 400 KM far away from Pakistan’s capital Islamabad.
Haq completed his bachelor and master degree from University of Peshawar and University of the Punjab respectively.
He was also the provincial minister at Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal(MMA)-a religious parties collation government in Pakistan after 2002 general elections in NWFP(now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).

Although He resigned in 2006 from the cabinet as a protest over strike on a seminary at Pakistan’s tribal region Bajaur agency which left 80 alleged militants killed.
The new party chief always appeared to be the strong  critics of the military operation and drones strikes against the Pakistani "militants" in tribal areas of Pakistan.

کچھ دیر قبل جماعت اسلامی پاکستان کے نومنتخب امیر جناب سراج الحق سے ملاقات ہوئی۔
امیر جماعت منتخب ہونے کے کچھ ہی دیر بعد (سابق) امیر سید منور حسن نے انہیں استقامت کی دُعا کے لیے فون کیا۔
سراج الحق نے فون لیا تو رونے لگ گئے اور پھر ان کا رونا ہچکیوں میں تبدیل ہوگیا۔ چند لمحے بعد سراج الحق نے فون لائن کاٹی اور اندر کمرے میں جاکر دھاڑیں مار مار کر رونے لگ گئے۔ وہ بار بار کہہ رہے تھے میں یہ بوجھ کیسے اُٹھاؤں گا۔

سراج الحق کی زندگی میں کئی ٹرننگ پوائنٹس ہیں مگر ایک حادثہ میںجب ان کی وین ایک کھائی میں گر رہی تھی اور موت یقینی تھی تو انھوں نے اپنے رب سے دعا کی۔ الٰہی اگر زندہ بچ گیا تو باقی زندگی شکرگزاری کی ہوگی، صرف تیری اور تیرے پیغام کی سرفرازی کے لیے جیوں گا۔ اس حادثے کو سالہاسال گزر گئے، سراج الحق نے اس وعدے کو اپنی سانسوں کا حصہ بنا لیا۔

مجھے پھول توڑنا بالکل پسند نہیں ہے

صبح جب میں گھر سے نکلی تو باہر رکھے گلاب کے پودے میں سے ایک چھوٹا سا گلاب کا پھول ٹوٹا ہوا پڑا تھا۔ شاید تھوڑی دیر پہلے ہی گرا تھا اسی لیے بالکل تازہ اور کھلا کھلا تھا۔ مجھے پھول توڑنا بالکل پسند نہیں ہے، نہ ہی میں کسی کو توڑنے دیتی ہوں۔ اسی لیے اس چھوٹے سے گلاب کو زمین پر پڑے دیکھ کر بہت افسوس ہوا اور میں نے اسے اٹھا کر اپنی گاڑی کے ڈیش بورڈ پر رکھ دیا۔ کچھ گھنٹوں بعد جب میں نے اسے دیکھا تو وہ جو صبح کھلا ہوا تھا اب ایک کلی میں بدل چکا تھا اور کافی حد تک مرجھا چکا تھا۔ شاید بلکہ یقینا” سورج کی تپش کی وجہ سے۔

وہ خود تو مرجھاگیا مگر اس کی بھینی بھینی خوشبو اب بھی پھیلی ہوئی تھی۔ کچھ لوگ بھی ایسے ہی ہوتے ہیں نا؟ بالکل ترو تازہ ہوتے ہیں۔ ہر پل مسکراتے، خوشیاں بکھیرتے مگر پھر ہمارے سخت لہجے یا کڑوے الفاظ بالکل اسی طرح ان کی مسکراہٹ چھین لیتے ہیں۔ وہ ہمارے الفاظ اور لہجے کی گرمی نہیں سہہ پاتے اور بالکل اسی گلاب کے پھول کی طرح مرجھا جاتے ہیں۔ رنگ ماند پڑ جاتے ہیں، تازگی ختم ہوجاتی ہے۔ مگر پھر بھی ان کا احساس، ان کی باتیں ہمارے ارد گرد ہمیشہ رہتی ہیں۔ بالکل ایسی ہی خوشبو کی طرح۔

اپنے ارد گرد کا جائزہ لیجیے۔ کہیں کوئی تازہ گلاب مرجھا نہ جائے۔ کسی کی مسکراہٹ آپ کی ایک جھڑکی کی نظر نہ ہوجائے۔ کیونکہ کھلنے میں وقت لگتا ہے مگر مرجھانے کے لیے چند پل بھی کافی ہوتے ہیں

میرے لئے بائیسکل خرید دیجئے’’ ایک غریب خاندان کے لڑکے نے اپنے باپ سے کہا۔ باپ کے لئے بائیسکل خریدنا مشکل تھا۔ اس نے ٹال دیا ۔ لڑکا بار بار کہتا رہا اور باپ بار بار منع کرتا رہا۔ آخر کار ایک روز باپ نے ڈانت کر کہا‘‘ میں نے کہہ دیا کہ میں بائیسکل نہیں خریدوں گا۔ آئندہ مجھ سے اس قسم کی بات مت کرنا۔’’ یہ سن کر لڑکے کی آنکھ میں آنسو آگئے ۔ وہ کچھ دیر تک چپ رہا۔ اس کے بعد روتے ہوئے بولا‘‘ آپ ہی تو ہم...ارے باپ ہیں پھر آپ سے نہ کہیں تو کس سے کہیں’’ اس جملہ نے باپ کو تڑپا دیا ۔ اچانک اس کا انداز بدل گیا۔ اس نے کہا ‘‘ اچھا بیٹے ، اطمینان رکھو۔ میں تم کو ضرور بائیسکل دوں گا۔’’ یہ کہتے ہوئے باپ کی آنکھوں میں آنسو آ گئے۔ اگلے دن اس نے پیسہ کر کے بیٹے کے لئے نئی بائیسکل خرید دی۔

لڑکے نے بظاہر ایک لفظ کہا تھا۔ مگر یہ ایسا لفظ تھا جس کی قیمت اس کی اپنی زندگی تھی۔جس میں اس کی پوری ہستی شامل ہو گئی تھی۔ اس لفظ کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ اس نے اپنے آپ کو اپنے سرپرست کے آگے بالکل خالی کردیا ہے۔ یہ لفظ بول کر اس نے اپنے آپ کو ایک ایسے نقطہ پر کھڑا کر دیا جہاں اس کی درخواست اس کے سرپرست کے لئے بھی اتنا بڑا مسئلہ بن گئی جتنا وہ خود اس کے اپنے لئے تھی۔

یہ انسانی واقعہ خدائی واقعہ کی تمثیل ہے۔ اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ وہ کون سی دعا ہےجو لوٹائی نہیں جاتی۔ یہ وہ دعا ہےجس میں بندہ اپنے پوری ہستی کو انڈہل دیتا ہے ۔ جب بندہ کی آنکھ سے عجز کا وہ قطرہ ٹپک پڑتا ہے جس کا تحمل زمین و آسمان بھی نہ کر سکیں۔جب بندہ اپنے آپ کو اپنے رب کے ساتھ اتنا زیادہ شامل کرلیتا ہے کہ ‘‘ بیٹا’’ اور ‘‘ باپ’’ دونوں ایک ترازو پر آجاتے ہیں۔

یہ وہ لمحہ ہےجب کہ دعا محض زبان سے نکلا ہوا ایک لفظ نہیں ہوتی بلکہ وہ ایک شخصیت کے پھٹنے کی آواز ہوتی ہے۔

اس وقت خدا کی رحمیں اپنے بندے پر ٹوٹ پڑتی ہیں۔ بندگی اور خدائی دونوں ایک دوسرے سے راضی ہو جاتے ہیں۔ قادر مطلق عاجز مطلق کو اپنی آغوش میں لےلیتا ہے۔

یہ تو پاکستان کی کہانی ہے

ایک شہر میں ایک مست بابا آ گیا۔ آتے ہی اُس نے حکم دیا کہ ایک بہت بڑی دیگ لاؤ۔ دیگ آ گئی تو بولا، اس دیگ کے لائق ایک چولہا بناؤ، اس میں لکڑیاں رکھ کر بھانبنڑ لگا دو۔ چولہا جل گیا،مست نے حکم دیا کہ دیگ میں پانی بھر دو، اوپر ڈھکنا لگا دو، اسے چولہے پر رکھ دو۔ اگلی صبح انھوں نے دیگ کا ڈھکنا اُٹھایا تو دیکھا کہ وہ پلاؤ سے بھری ہوئی ہے۔سارے شہر میں اعلان کر دیا گیا کہ حاجت مند آئیں، انھیں کھانا مفت تقسیم کیا جائے گا۔ اس اعلان پر سارا شہر دیگ پر اُمڈ آیا مست پلاؤ کی تھالیاں بھر بھر کر دینے لگا۔ اگلے روز انھوں نے دیگ کا ڈھکنا اُٹھایا تو دیکھا کہ دیگ جوں کی توںبھری ہوئی تھی۔ اس پر شہر میں مست بابا کی دھوم مچ گئی۔برتاوے تھالیاں بھر بھر کر لوگوں کو بانٹتے مگر دیگ جوں کی توں بھری تھی۔ حاجت مندوں میں ایک فقیر بھی تھا۔ وہ خالی ہاتھ آتا اور سارا دن کھڑا تماشا دیکھتا رہتا۔ برتاوے کہتے، میاں تو کیوں خالی ہاتھ کھڑآ ہے، برتن لا اور چاول لے لے۔ وہکہتا، میں حاجت مند نہیں ہوں۔اس بات پر برتاوے بہت حیران ہوتے کہ کھڑا بھی رہتا ہے بٹر بٹر دیکھتا بھی رہتا ہے مگر کھاتا پیتا نہیں ہے۔ انھوں نے مست بابا سے بات کی۔ مست بابا نے کہا، اس شخص کو میرے پاس لاؤ۔ وہ فقیر کو مست بابا کے پاس لے گئے۔ مست بابا نے پوچھا، میاں کیا بات ہے کہ تو سارا دن دیگ کے سامنے کھڑا رہتاہے لیکن دیگ کے چاول نہیں کھاتا۔فقیر بولا، میں یہاں چاول کھانے نہیں آتا اور نہ ہی اس دیگ کو دیکھنے آتا ہوں، جو سدا بھری رہتی ہوں۔مست بابا نے پوچھا، پھر تو یہاں آتا کیوں ہے؟ فقیر بولا میں تو تیری زیارت کرنے آتا ہوں، تو جو اس شہر کا رب بنا ہوا ہے اور لوگوں میں رزق تقسیم کر رہا ہے۔مست بابا کا چہرہ بھیانک ہو گیا۔ وہ چلا کر بولا: ” دیگ کو اُنڈیل دو۔ چولہے پر پانی ڈال دو۔‟ یہ کہہ کر مست بابا نے اپنی لاٹھی اُٹھائی اور شہر سے باہر نکل گیا۔میرے کئی دوست کہتے ہیں، مفتی یہ کہانی تو نے خود گھڑی ہے۔ یہ تو پاکستان کی کہانی ہے۔ لوگ اس دیگ کو کھا رہے ہیں۔ ايک چلا جاتا ہے تو دسرا گروپ آ جاتا ہے کھاتا ہے،وہ چلا جاتا ہے تو تيسرا گروپ آ جاتا ہے۔اس کے ممبر دیگ پر ٹوٹ پڑتے ہیں لیکن یہ دیگ ختم ہونے میں نہیں آتی۔فرق صرف یہ ہے کہ وہ دیگ مست نے چڑھائی تھی اور یہ خود ربِ جلیل نےچڑھائی ہے

Pakistan: Academic Dishonesty and its Consequences

Academic dishonesty is a serious problem and can have severe consequences that can have lasting effects on one's academic career. Now a day’s matric exam is going on in many part of Pakistan. It has been reported that various cheating methods are being practiced by the students and as well as by the dishonest teachers in examination halls. This attitude of our academia is the result of the poor quality of education. Most of the time it happens that teachers do not attend the classes. At the end of the session, they convey an unethical silent message of cheating in exam to their students. In this way, though the teacher successfully protect their self from a bad reputation. But in fact they are ruining the future of students. This is because th8 at there is no check and balance, especially in government institution.

 I have often seen that though some talented teachers do teach honestly but they lack the ability to motivate students to do work hardly. I think the most important thing in teaching is to motivate students and keep them engaged in academics activities rather than giving them a free hand.

The worst thing that is killing our student’s talent is the small Pocket Size Guides which are easily available in the market and Micro notes that the student gets from Photostat shops. These kinds of cheating material have a worst impact on our students.

During the examination session most often the invigilators and superintendent are invited to sumptuous meal either by students or by the parent of the students. And this kind of invitation are accepted by disloyal and corrupt minded invigilator It’s a kind of bribery and by this way students succeeded to get an illegal favor of the examination staff during exam hours . Hence those students are then given a free hand to do cheating and then they are able to gets a good grade in exam. In this kind of situation usually the poor students suffer a lot and the wealthy family’s sons are benefitted.

Most of the examination stuff are from teaching profession, and as teachesr are supposed to be a nation builder. But now it seems, that for the sake of some luxury they are deliberately ruining the future of the nation.  As a result our examination system is getting so much poor, that higher level educational institute does not have a trust on  this examination system despite they take their own  screening test for admission or accept ETEA or NTS test result.

The habit of cheating starting from Matric does not stop here but it continuous up to higher level exams too. And at the end, a dull minded, corrupt product of degree holders is obtained. Who, then run the country by performing duties at various government organization with that corrupt mind set by violating the merit and pushing the nation into a dark future.  

Private sector educational institutes are sharper in this disloyalty. They apply special technique to run their businesses and compete other. For this purpose they use every unfair means. They are so eager to gain top positions in the Matric and SSC board exam so that they can attract their customer more and more. They first develop a friendly relations with Board administrative and clerical staff, inviting them for special dinners and lunches follow up with expensive gift for their families. Hence their conscience is killed. Then they willing do what these corporate says to them by getting examination hall and invigilator duties of their choice for the students. This practice is very common these days. I think this is a very smart way to get money as well as to destroy the fresh mind of student.                

 We see that as the cheating is increasing from the lower level to the higher level. In the same ratio Corruption, dishonesty, violation of rules, rigging in election and many other evils are increasing day by day …and thus we are losing our standard in each and every sphere of life. Someone has said very true that cheaters are losers. They lose the pride that comes from accomplishing something yourself. They lose the chance to learn something difficult. And they can lose much more……

The need for human being to have friends and intimate atmosphere is undeniable. The feeling of loneliness is one of the most crushing psychological mood of human beings. Friend and friendship enhance the human tolerance against the difficulties of life. According to researcher the patient who has incurable diseases with few friend die soon than those with lot of relation or those with happy and supportive families. Friendly relationship make us feel we belong to a group and feel membership in the group. This kind of membership has its own advantage. One of which is reliable unity, the kind of bond on which one can rely in time of trouble.

Friendship also result in emotional stability and help us understanding our position vis-a-vis  other ; it means our friend’s  reaction against our speech , behavior , and emotion help us know who we really are and understanding the difference between right and wrong . Lastly, this state results in our balance and reformation of our character and helps the improvement and strength of our abilities against the situations and happening in the world around.

Another function of friendship is the exchanging of information and skills and sharing the experience of others, for friendship is a chance to use others’ facilities to improve and thus practically expand one’s assets.

One of the most important function of friendship is helping others, for friendship is a chance for individual to help others and fulfill their positive and constructive role in a society. By doing so, the person will have self-respect and also a positive role in the process of development of other character. All of these will result in the mental health of individuals and will gradually help the improvement of morality and human values and finally the movement toward perfect human character.

Friendship (i.e. thoughtful friendship) change a person in to group; it make movement and has the role of reforming and leading people to perfection.

It is based on the presupposition that affection toward another believer is one of the highest level of faith and the holy Abraham could gain the position of God’s friendship¹   

Whoever deprives himself of practical culture of friendship is deprived of many capabilities and become a lonely and incapable person.  About such a person, the Prophet (P.B.U.H) says: “the believer is a friend and companion and others make friend and with him, and others is no use in the one who does not make friends with others (i.e. does not enter the circle of friends) and who is not made friend with”

The leader of Islam (P.B.U.H) considers friendship is a blessing from God and also an important possibility and says: “if God wants to bless somebody , He gives him a good friend who will remind him (of things ) when he forgets (them ) and who will help him when he remembers (things )” 

It should be taken into account that “friendship “ is not something accidental and simple  but a long and complex process which has which has an important role in the destiny of human beings .But there are also traps and challenges . to establish this kind of relationship , to improve it , to keep its necessary order and properly deal with the problem in its way in its way , one need reflection, a plan activity and skills

It would be highly simplistic to say: “start your friendship and everything will take care of itself.” it would be like believing that by just putting the key in switch, leaning back in seat, and leaving car to itself, one can drive in the street! It is just the reverse. Anti-Pakistan Posture: Ban on flying Pakistani Flag in World T20 ,2014

Following the order of Shekh Hasina Wajid Government, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) issued a directives after having notice the love of Bangladeshi People with Pakistan in the stadium by flying Pakistan flag with a joy and with a spirit of brotherhood.   Shahid Fridi have also praised this spirit of Bengali Brothers.

The recent decision have totally been made on the basis hatred of Hsian so-called government against Pakistan. As the history reveals that Hasin didn’t let anything to create hatred against Pakistan. She with the help of India continuously spreading hatred by pursuing India’s direction by conducting anti-Pakistan campaign. Therefore, after passing of 42 year to the event of 1971, which resulted into the separation of East Paksitan , Adul Qadir was hanged because of his loyalty to Pakistan.

However, Bangladesh’s ruling party, under Sheikh Hasina Wajid maintains an anti-Pakistan posture with sinister designs of expressing animosity, antagonism and unrestrained emotional flare-up. The aim is to exploit feelings of masses by keeping the “hate Pakistan” agenda alive. This enables Awami League and Hasina Wajid to remain significant in Bangladesh’s power politics despite their failure to deliver the goods. It also helps them to appease their mentors in India. Using abusive language against Pakistan and its armed forces makes Hasina Wajid relevant in Indian politics, while she herself prefers those entities which derive sadistic pleasure by depicting Pakistan in bad light.

For the purpose, Awami League and its leader, Prime Minister Hasina are propagating against Islamabad through a well thought-out media plan in order to spread venom against Pakistan, its armed forces and all those Bangladeshi nationals who were loyal to the state during 1971 crisis. As already stated, hasty execution of death penalty to Abdul Qadir Mullah, political ban on religious parties and exclusion of BNP (opposition party) from power sharing, on jingoistic claims, clearly point at Indo-Bangladesh-Awami League blueprint which itself speaks of their deep seated animosity against Pakistan and its armed forces. Old carriage of woeful accusations and planned insinuations are re-animated to maintain emotional incrimination and revamp intriguing blame game.

By neglecting Islamabad’s positive approach, Bangladesh government has continued its anti-Pakistan approach to please India. It could be judged from the statement of Prime Minister Hasina Wajid who has vocally said, “Bangladesh has no room for the people loving Pakistan.”

Nonetheless, the government of Awami League led by Hasina Wajid has been following an anti- Pakistan agenda prepared by Indian masters. Therefore, it is India which actually desires to see Bangladesh locking horns with Islamabad. In this regard, the patriot people of Bangladesh must introspectively think that who is behind the intriguing yoke.

Undoubtedly, Prime Minister Hasina Wajid acts, as if she is an Indian national. Her sole aim is to remain in power and New Delhi has assured her that she will never lose political power, if she follows a strong anti-Pakistan posture. In fact, Prime Minister Hasina has badly failed in providing good governance and relief to the poor and maintains her relevance in Bangladesh only by propagating against Pakistan and making the latter a scapegoat of her dirty politics.

Notably, Hasina Wajid is anti-Islam and hates her own country’s Muslim majority as much as she hates Pakistan. So, the people of Bangladesh will soon recognize her real face and she will again be rejected by her own people, as she has won the elections through rigging.

But, Pakistan’s silence over Sheikh Hasina’s anti-Pakistan policies, and to deal with the well thought-out combined plot of Dhaka, India and Awami League is regrettable. As enough is enough, there should be a limit to anti-Pakistan rhetoric of the Bangladesh’s rulers. Our continued silence on the issue of war crimes has further emboldened Hasina regime. Hence, every time, these conspirators come up with new strategy to implicate Pakistan.

So, Pakistan’s political entities and media need to counter anti-Pakistan posture of Hasina Wajid who has launched a deliberate propaganda campaign against Pakistan, its armed forces and ISI. No doubt, the real perpetrator is New Delhi which desires to see a permanent rift between Islamabad and Dhaka.

Bengali and Pakistani are still believes on two nation theory but it is only Hasina Wajid and his team who tries to break this brotherhood relation by propagating false conception.  The recent ban is in fact the ban on Pakistan flag but being a Muslims we are still one nation.

The Glamour of NTS and My Poor Pocket

Now it’s  seems a fashion to appear in NTS test until you got a  job or you pass  GATE for higher studies, but  majority of the students does not succeed in first attempt. Most of the jobs announced in public sector organization also require NTS test to meet the job requirement.

 But what happens, first you need to submit at least Rs.300 in the bank for the test then you should send the application via courier services, for which you should pay another 100 to 150. So the lump sum amount reach up to 500 rupees. After it, If  the candidates who belongs to for flung areas comes to appear in the test. In this way, they spent lots of money for travel expenses e.g. if someone come from Swat then he might pay 300 rupees for the ticket from Mingora to Peshawar. He will also have to eat some food , because it’s a lengthy travel, and if the test starts early at morning then he must come a day before the test .So  he will stay in a hotel.  This  add the average expanses of 300 rupees.

Most of the time the test center situated at remote location from main city for which he will pay taxi ticket of not less than 250 rupees.

It means that at least three thousand rupees is spent on a single NTS test. Now it is a catching bargain and unavoidable to boycott the test as you must fulfill the requirement for the job or admission. In this situation how unemployed candidate will afford this much expenditure. I’m stuck

This is the language in which most of the information and websites are available. It is very difficult to translate each and every relevant webpage into the language of various countries. With Internet becoming very important in education, English language is bound to grow. Thus the importance of English as a language is emphasized.

The future of English as a language is very secure. The day is not far when this language will become the single language of the world like we have a single currency.

سیاسسی بصیرت کی ایک مثال

آج 23 مارچ ہے ۔ 74 سال قبل آج کی تاریخ ایک قرارداد لاہور کے اُس میدان میں پیش کی گئی تھی جہاں اب مینارِ پاکستان کھڑا ہے ۔ یہ قراداد پاکستان قائم ہونے کی طرف پہلا قدم ثابت ہوئی ۔ اُس زمانہ کے سیاستدانوں کی کامیا بی کا سبب کیا تھا ۔ اس سلسلے میں ایک کتاب

’’آزادی کی کہانی۔ میری زبانی‘‘ سے چند اقتباسات پیشِ خدمت ہیں ۔ یہ کتاب تحریک پاکستان کے عظیم رہنما سردار عبدالرب نشتر کیسوانح ہے جسے آغاز مسعود حسین نے تالیف کیا تھااور شاید 56۔1955ء میں شائع ہوئی

سردار عبدالرب نشتر قائد اعظم کے قریبی اور معتمد ساتھیوں میں سے تھے۔ وہ ماؤنٹ بیٹن کی عبوری کابینہ میں مسلم لیگ کے وزیر تھے اور بعدازاں قیام پاکستان کے بعد مرکزی کابینہ کے رکن اور پنجاب کے گورنر بھی رہے۔ اعلیٰ پائے کے مقرر، مخلص لیڈر اور صاف ستھرے انسان تھے۔ اسی لئے قائد اعظم انہیں پسند کرتے تھے۔ ان چند اقتباسات ہی کا مطالعہ ایک ذی شعور انسان کو سردار صاحب مر حوم کی بصیرت ، دور رس نگاہ اور دردمندی کی داد دینے پر مجبور کر دیتا ہے اور محسوس ہوتا جیسے موجودہ سیاستدان اور حکمران سردار صاحب کی قدآور شخصیت کے سامنے طفلان مکتب ہیں یا شاید طفلان مکتب بھی نہیں ۔ سردار صاحب نے جن خطرات کا اظہار 54/1953ء میں کیا تھا وہ بعد ازاں کس طرح صحیح اور سچ ثابت ہوئے اور ہماری کوتاہیوں نے کیا گل کھلائے

کتاب کے صفحہ نمبر 182 پرسردار صاحب فرماتے ہیں ”پاکستان میں ایک اور مرض قیام پاکستان کے بعد سے نمایاں ہوگیا ہے وہ تعصب کا مرض ہے۔ میں نے محسوس کیا ہے کہ پاکستان کے مختلف صوبوں کے درمیان گہرے تعصبات موجود ہیں حالانکہ تعصب خالصتاً ہندو مزاج ہے۔ پاکستان ایک ملت ہے اور ایک ملت میں لسانی یا مذہبی تعصبات نہیں ہوتے۔ مشرقی پاکستان میں محرومی کااحساس بڑھ رہا ہے۔ انہیں شکایت ہے کہ بنگلہ زبان کو پاکستان کی واحد قومی زبان کیوں نہیں بنایا گیا لیکن ان کا یہ اعتراض غلط فہمی کا نتیجہ ہے۔ قائد اعظم نے اردو کو پاکستان کی قومی زبان اس لئے بنایا ہے کہ یہ دونوں بازوں کے درمیان رابطے کی اوربول چال کی زبان ہے۔ قائد اعظم نے نہ بنگلہ زبان کے استعمال اور لکھنے پڑھنے کو ممنوع قرار دیا ہے نہ اس کی حیثیت کو کم کرنے کی کوشش کی ہے۔ مشرقی پاکستان کے عوام نے قیام پاکستان کے لئے عظیم قربانیاں دی ہیں اور انہیں شکایت ہے کہ مغربی پاکستان ان کا معاشی استحصال کررہا ہے۔ مغربی پاکستان کے رہنمائوں کو ان سے فراخدلانہ سلوک کرنا چاہئے اور ان کی شکایتوں کا ازالہ کرنا چاہئے ، ان کے دلوں اور ذہنوں سے یہ احساس ختم کردینا چاہئے اگر مغربی پاکستان اور مشرقی پاکستان کے رہنما مل کر مشرقی پاکستان کے لوگوں کے ذہنوں سے ہر قسم کی مایوسیوں کو دور نہیں کرسکے تو ایک دن یہ خلیج طبعی اور جغرافیہ کی خلیج بن جائے گی۔ ہماری ذمہ داری ہے کہ ہم دونوں صوبوں کے درمیان محبتوں کے مضبوط پل تعمیر کریں تاکہ کوئی دشمن ہم دونوں کو جدا نہ کرسکے“۔

(یاد رہے کہ بنگالی مشرقی پاکستان کی سرکاری زبان جبکہ اردو کو پاکستان کی سرکاری زبان قرار دیا گیا تھا۔ یہ فیصلہ دستورساز اسمبلی کا تھا جسے بنگالی اراکین کی حمایت حاصل تھی۔ قائد اعظم دستور ساز اسمبلی کے فیصلے کی نمائندگی کرتے رہے اور حمایت کرتے رہے)

بدقسمتی سے سردار عبدالرب نشتر کی دردمندانہ تجاویز ، اندیشوں اور گزارشات پر عمل نہ کیا گیا اور پھر 1971ء میں پاکستان ٹوٹ گیا

سردار صاحب مرحوم مزید فرماتے ہیں”مغربی پاکستان کے چھوٹے صوبوں یعنی سرحد بلوچستان میں بھی معاشی ناہمواریوں کی شکایتیں پائی جاتی ہیں۔ ان صوبوں کے رہنمائوں کو پنجاب سے شکایت ہے کہ یہاں کی افسر شاہی چھوٹے صوبوں کے ساتھ مساویانہ سلوک کرنے کو تیار نہیں۔ اس صوبے (پنجاب) کا مزاج جاگیردارانہ ہے۔ مغربی پاکستان کے چاروں صوبوں کے رہنماؤں کو آپس میں مل بیٹھ کر ایک متحدہ معاشی و سیاسی پروگرام بنانا چاہیئے تاکہ وہ ایک طرف جاگیرداروں اور افسر شاہی کے ملاپ کو کمزور کرسکیں تو دوسری طرف عوام کے اتحاد کو مضبوط بنائیں‘‘۔

جو نقشہ سردار صاحب نے ساٹھ برس قبل کھینچا تھا وہ صورتحال تقریباً آج بھی اسی طرح موجود ہے اور ہم مسلسل زوال اور انتشار کی راہ پر چل رہے ہیں۔ یوں تو سردار صاحب نے قومی زندگی کے سبھی شعبوں پر اظہار خیال کیا ہے جو ہماری آنکھیں کھولنے کے لئے کافی ہے لیکن آخر میں میں آپ کو اس کہانی کا فقط ایک کردار اور ایک منظر دکھا رہا ہوں جو نہایت دردناک اور عبرت ناک ہے۔ اس منظر میں بیان کئے گئے سردار صاحب کے خدشات کس طرح حقیقت بنے یہ کوئی ڈھکی چھپی بات نہیں لیکن اس سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ قائد اعظم کے ساتھی حالات کو سمجھنے ، بھانپنے اور مستقبل میں جھانکنے کی صلاحیت بدرجہ اتم رکھتے تھے کیونکہ وہ سیاستدان تھے، سیاسی جدوجہد نے ان کی سیاسی تربیت کی تھی، ان کے دل اقتدار اور دولت کی ہوس سے پاک تھے۔ یاد رکھئے کہ صرف وہ نگاہ دور رس ا ور دور بین ہوتی ہے جو ہر قسم کی ہوس سے پاک ہو، جس کے پیچھے روشن دماغ ہو اور خلوص نیت ہو

سردار صاحب مرحوم فرماتے ہیں کہ ”پاکستان بننے کے بعد پاکستان کی فوج پر بڑی ذمہ داریاں عائد ہوگئی ہیں۔ پاکستان کی حکومت نے ا ن کی ضروریات پوری کرنے کے لئے مغربی ممالک کے ساتھ دوستی اور خیر سگالی کے جذبات کو فروغ دیا ہے لیکن اپنی آزادی اور خود مختاری کی قیمت پر نہیں۔ پاکستان کی فوج کو بھی چاہیئے کہ وہ پاکستان کی سیاسی صورتحال کے پیش نظر اور یہ جانتے ہوئے کہ ان کے پڑوس میں بھارت ، افغانستان اور روس ہیں جن کے تعلقات روز اول ہی سے خراب ہیں۔ پاکستان کی فوج کو سیاست میں ملوث نہیں ہونا چاہئے ……. مجھے شبہ ہے کہ پاکستان کی بری فوج کے سربراہ ایوب خان سیاست میں دلچسپی لے رہے ہیں اور انہوں نے کئی جگہوں پر کہا ہے کہ پاکستان میں سویلین حکومت نہیں چلا سکتے۔ ایوب خان کی یہ سوچ نادانی پر مبنی ہے ، اسے معلوم نہیں کہ وہ آج جو کچھ بھی ہے محض پاکستان کی بدولت ہے۔ پاکستان عوام نے اپنے خون سے حاصل کیا ہے……. میرا خیال ہے کہ اگر پاکستان کی فوج نے کبھی بھی سیاست میں آنے کی کوشش کی تو اسی دن سے پاکستان کی فوج اور ملک کا زوال شروع ہوجائے گا۔ ملک کے پیچیدہ معاملات فوجی افسر نہیں چلا سکتے۔ ان کی تربیت زندگی کی شاہراہ پر نہیں ہوتی، وہ ایک مخصوص ماحول میں سویلین سے دور اپنی ذہنی اور جسمانی تربیت حاصل کرتے ہیں …….جس دن فوج سیاست میں داخل ہوگئی، بھارت اس سے فائدہ اٹھائے گا، فوج عوام کی نظروں میں بدنام ہوجائے گی، جس کا مطلب یہ ہوگا کہ پاکستان کے ٹوٹنے کا عمل شروع ہوجائے گا……. میں تو اس تصوّر ہی سے ڈر جاتا ہوں کہ پاکستان کی فوج سیاست میں ملوث ہو………. فوج کا کام جغرافیائی سرحدوں کی حفاظت کرنا ہے اور سیاستدانوں کا کام نظریاتی و تہذیبی سرحدوں کی حفاظت کرنا ہے ………. اگر کسی ایک نے دونوں کام اپنے ذمے لے لئے تو پھر وہ دونوں کام انجام نہیں دے سکے گا “۔

سردار صاحب نے پنجاب کے جاگیرداروں اور نوکر شاہی کے بارے میں جن خیالات کا اظہار کیا تھا وہ ساٹھ برس گزرنے کے بعد بھی جوں کے توں موجود ہیں۔ انہوں نے چھوٹے صوبوں کے احساس محرومی پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا تھا لیکن ہمارے حکمرانوں نے اس پر توجہ نہیں دی یہ احساس محرومی آج بلوچستان میں استحکام پاکستان کے لئے ایک خطرہ بن چکا ہے۔ سردار صاحب نے فوجی جرنیلوں کے جن عزائم پر اضطراب اور خوف کا اظہار کیا تھا وہ 1958ء میں حقیقت بن گئے اور ایوب خان نے اقتدار پر قبضہ کرکے نہ ہی صرف فوجی مداخلتوں کا دروازہ کھول دیا بلکہ پاکستان کے ٹوٹنے کی بھی بنیاد رکھ دی ۔ آج تقریباً وہی صورتحال ہے جو سردار صاحب کی چشم تصور نے ساٹھ برس قبل دیکھی تھی اسے کہتے ہیں سیاسی بصیرت

23 March 1940 : A Day of Commitment

ربِ کعبہ کی قسم، روحِ محمد کی قسم
دوستو! یاد دلا دوں، یہ وہی دن ہے کہ ہم
برِّ کوچک کے ہر اک شہر سے ابنائے حرم
توڑ کر نسل کے بت اور زبانوں کے صنم
نعرہ زن جانبِ لاہور چلے آئے تھے
زینتِ دوش نہیں ہاتھ پہ سپر لائے تھے

شہرِ لاہور میں ہم مسجدِ شاہی کے قریں
وہ جو اک باغ ہے میدان ہے یا سطحِ زمیں
جس سے دربار بھی داتا کا بہت دور نہیں
متحد ہو کے چلے آئے تھے اُس روز وہیں
یک زباں نعرۂ تکبیر لگانے کے لیے
اپنی زنجیر کو شمشیر بنانے کے لیے

یہ وہی دن ہے عزیزو! کہ اٹھا کر قرآں
ہم نے قائد کی گواہی میں کیا تھا اعلاں
ہے جداگانہ وطن آج سے جزوِ ایماں
اور ہم لوگ پکاریں گے اسے پاکستاں
سچ کہو کتنا بڑا کام کیا تھا ہم نے
خوابِ اقبال کو جب نام دیا تھا ہم نے

اور اُسی روز سے اس ملک کے آقاؤں سے
وسعتِ ہند میں کفار کے نیتاؤں سے
حیف صد حیف خریدے ہوئے ملاؤں سے×
اٹھ کے اک ساتھ ہر اک شہر سے ہر گاؤں سے
دوستو! سات برس کی تھی لڑائی ہم نے
اور یہ مملکتِ پاک بنائی ہم نے

عہدِ رفتہ کے چراغوں کو بجھا کر اپنے
لاکھ کے گھر بھی کھڑے ہو کے لٹا کر اپنے
ظلم کی تیغ کو سینے سے لگا کر اپنے
دوستو! دیدہ ورو! خوں میں نہا کر اپنے
ہم نے ہر طرح سے چاہا کہ سحر ہو جائے
اور یہ ملکِ خداداد اَمَر ہو جائے
