[CM KP Pervez Khattak visited Kohat and attended parents day ceremony of Cadet College Kohat as Chief Guest today]

CM KP Pervez Khattak on this occasion announced construction of hostel for the college, provision of ambulance and a grant of Rs. 20 million for the institution. CM KP while addressing the ceremony said that we are a progressive nation and we want brought up of our young generation according to the needs of the current era. He stressed the need of equipping the new generation with the knowledge of science and contemporarily skills to enable them to meet modern challenges successfully.

While emphasizing the importance of Education, CM KP said that nations who ignored their educational system always faced with disaster. Corrupt people took advantage of the weak educational system and established institutions on the basis of their own like and dislike due to which social evils flourished in the society. He said that due to this mismanagement rich people became richer while poor people further deteriorated. CM KP Minister vowed that the present KP government was striving for provision of equal educational and development opportunities to rich and poor alike.

"Provincial government was trying to make public sector educational institutional at par with the private institutions. English was introduced at primary level to make children of the poor people to compete successfully with the children of rich people. Now people were preferring to admit their children in govt run schools. Provincial govt was intended to produce educated youth, capable of working for the progress and prosperity of the nation and foiling internal and external conspiracies bravely". - CM KP Pervez Khattak
