Tirah, Landikotal of Khyber agency is a newly opened area for polio campaigns after military operation. Anxiety among polio workers is still present due to fear and threat and the same happened with me during LQAS survey. This was a very far-flung and hard-to-reach area touching Afghanistan border, where I conducted LQAS. The only child below 5 years was brought by his elder brother who was playing cricket outside his home with friends. The child finger mark was checked and found vaccinated.
