Hiring Intern 

The Office of the Advocate General, ICT, Islamabad, is pleased to announce 20 vacancies for its training/pupillage programme for fresh graduates with an LLB degree. The programme will be for 6 months and all those who meet the requisite requirements are invited to apply. Please note that this is an un-paid position. 


What you will be expected to do?  

• Assist in drafting petitions;

 • Assist the Advocate General with legal research for cases in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad High Court, District Courts and Special Courts; 

• Make case briefs and research memos for the Advocate General; 

• Visit District Courts and Special Courts for learning trial procedure; 

• Other work as assigned by the Advocate General; 


What you will  get?

 • Learn how to draft legal documents;

 • Hands on experience and familiarity with the workings of the Supreme Court, High Court, District Courts and Special Courts;

 • At the end of the training/pupillage, the trainee will be recommended by the Advocate General to different government departments including: Attorney General Office, Law and Justice Division, Ministry of Interior, ICT Prosecution Department, and Capital Development Authority (CDA) on merit;
