Simulation 2” (NS-2) by Mr. Sami Ullah, a PhD scholar and a visiting lecturer

BLOOD DONATION CAMP in DCS
On March 10th 2011, a blood
Donation camp was organized in the department by Welfare Hand Organization, an
NGO for thalassemia. Students participated with vigour in this camp. The blood
was tested for Hepatitis A, B, C and HIV AIDS and the students were provided
with the screening result.
Medically, blood donation doesn’t have
adverse effect on the health of the donor. Naturally the RBC in the blood breaks
down after 120 days and new blood is generated. The blood collected in the camp

New Library of DCS with New Books and Facilities
As the two wings of DCS merged into a single Department, a
new, bigger library is founded by combining the two old libraries of senior and
junior wing. On March 2, 2011, the new library was set up and furnished, making
it available to students. In June, it was updated with a large number of new
books and journal. Now the library is about 11000 books, 2500 journals and 1500
copies of thesis strong.

Dr. Zahoor Jan recently completed
his PhD from Fast National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences
(NU-FAST), Islamabad in Image Processing. The title of his thesis was “Imperceptible

I am a
student and citizen of Pakistan. I can better judge the feeling of a student
because I have experienced both educational systems which are running in
Pakistan; first of all I want to say that the educational system of Pakistan is
very appalling in comparison with International standard. Our educational
