Health experts apprised that use of ‘naswar’ is one of the leading
causes of oral cancer. According to official statistics, more than 70%
of the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are in the habit of chewing Naswar.
“Brushing and cleaning teeth is essential for our healthy life, also stressed as part of our daily routine by Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W)”.
According to central media cell, it was stated by Dr Abdul Malik, Central PIMA President, Dr Masood Khan and Dr Muhammad Shafiq in a free dental clinic & awareness seminar held by PIMA Dentistry at AGOSH for orphans at Peshawar on Thursday.
PIMA dentists examined, prescribed and gave the teeth care tips to more than 93 children. Participants were also advised to avoid Naswar, Pan, Chalia, Smoking, Gutka and clean the teeth every day before sleeping
