Australian High Commissioner Margaret Adamson farewelled 40 Australia Awards scholars last night. The Awardees will commence their Master’s degree in Australia next year and will be studying in a range of priority sectors including economic growth, health, education and governance. Australia Awards are prestigious international awards offered by the Australia Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring links with Australia. The Australian Government has supporter over 2,000 Pakistanis to study in Australia in recent years.
