Bahria University Islamabad in collaboration with the STRIVE Trust organized “Humanity’16”

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE) Bahria University Islamabad in collaboration with the STRIVE trust organized “Humanity’16”, which was a charity based event. The event was aimed at gathering funds for the STRIVE trust. The event was sponsored by Naanbites, City Estate Gulbeg Greens and Rao Munawar. 

STRIVE is a Non-profit civil society organization founded by Mr. Muhammad Yasir Khan. It is dedicated to work on neurological/neuromuscular disorders for improving the quality of life of the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and facilitates them towards treatment and rehabilitation. The event exhibited a drama related to the society’s negative perception of the persons with the disabilities along with a musical performance. The event presented the owner as well as the other notable officials and patients of the strive trust as the guest speakers. The event greatly helped spread awareness regarding the mistreatment of the persons with disabilities as it was attended by a large number of people belonging to the different walks of life.
