Travel to Kalam is now a troublesome adventure . Due to the ruined road ,the residence of Kalam is suffering many problem.
On February 13, 2016, Kalam people announced a Dhrna in Islamabad aiming to get their basic right of road construction , to which no one is paying due attention since last 10 years.
In this regard a meeting of local society leaders from Kalam and Bahrain was held and they properly agreed on a campaign to highlight the issue to the government.
Habbiullah Saqib ( Tehsil Chairman Local Government Bahrain Swat ) participated in all parties conference held in Chakdara , and he raised the said issue in the meeting.
More over , in a protest held in Mingora City in which Habbiullah Saqib give a deadline of 15 days to the government. He said that if no response was given then we will be heading toward Islamabad for a grand protest in front of parliament House.
